TPC2022 Programme Streams and Partners
Ensuring the key topics and issues are front and centre in the conference programme
Introducing Programme Streams & Partners
Ever since the first TPC back in 2016, we have aimed to have a programme focused on the topics on delegate’s minds, and the issues we face as an industry.
The work of our previous education panel and the papers received each year has helped us deliver ever improving sessions and speakers.
Given the pressures we are all under as we reopen and re-engage with customers, we are mindful a call for papers may not deliver the quantity or quantity we aim for.
So we have reached out to some leading minds in specialist areas and asked them to work with us to curate the sessions. We will be supplementing these with a smaller call for papers in the coming weeks and months.
Streams will cover the different flavours of ticketing, from sports through attractions to live entertainment, as well as disciplines within ticketing, such as pricing, digital and accessibility.
Sessions will then be marked with all the streams covered within it.
Eventhough we are working with industry providers to curate the streams, it will not be just them or their clients invited to talk, I mean, who would like that?

TPC2022 Programme Streams
Accessibility and Inclusion
Examining both physical, digital and human barriers to ensuring everyone feels welcome, respected and able to enjoy their visit or engagement with the venue and its staff, as well as other customers
Revenue and Packaging
Pricing matters, we all know that. Now, more than ever, there are pricing challenges to resolve, including charging for digital or hybrid performances, as well as how products can be combined to deliver more value to our customers and revenue to us.
Digital
Sessions exploring the latest trends in digital engagement. Not just websites, but apps, streaming platforms, social channels and all other digital platforms and opportunities. The stream will focus more on case studies than the technologies.
Targeting and Marketing
How we reach new customers or re-engage with them post pandemic will be vital in ongoing recovery. This stream will look at technology, techniques and opportunties to sell more tickets, raise revenue and evaluate return on investment.
Organisational Improvement
Many lessons were learnt from the early days of the pandemic, not least the need for better communications internally, betters systems or policies. This stream will examine organisational issues, along with guidance on how to improve your service to fans / audience / visitors.
Visitor Experience & Spend
Guide books, seat cushions, memberships, hotels or interval drinks, the list of 'other' things to sells either in or after the purchase flow for tickets is growing. This stream will feature case studies and innovation in better service and communications with fans / visitors and raising spend.

Sessions and Streams Questions
We know that this might not answer all your questions, but here are some of the questions and answers we thought you may have.
Will sessions just be in one stream?
No, we envisage session will probably live in at least one stream, for example "How to price digital content" would be in both 'Digital' and 'Revenue and Packaging'
How many sessions will be in each stream?
It's hard to say at this point, until we can examine the sessions curated by the team. We would imagine at least six sessions per stream.
Who is curating the streams?
Most of the stream partners are now confirmed, we will be announcing the curation team in the coming weeks, once they are all confirmed to be onboard.
Are you accepting submissions to speak?
Absolutely. Our call for papers is now open. Head over to the submission page to see all the details.
