FAQ's on Speaking at #TPC2020
The 2020 call for papers ran until September 2020. Do feel free to drop us a line after this date if you REALLY want to talk.
- The session, including Q&A should be either 30 or 60 minutes long.
- It should ideally fit in one of the core learning streams, Revenues / Technology/ Compliance & Regulation / Management & Leadership
- It can’t be a sales pitch for services, products or venues, but can mention elements or examples of these where relevant.
- Ideally it should have clear learning takeaways for the audience, either in a new approach, technology or revenue opportunity, along with a case study or supporting speaker.
We actively strive to programme speakers that represent our industry and its make-up. Sessions and content are judged on merit, but we are actively looking shift from being predominantly ‘white male’ speakers.
We do not pay for speakers to present at Ticketing Professionals with the exception of professional speakers who we may invite.
Session leaders or active panelists receive a complimentary registration for the day of their presentation and may upgrade to a full registration at 50% of relevant fee.
Expenses such as travel and hotel are not paid by the conference, except in exceptional cases. These are assessed on a case by case basis.
