What’s this? Sessions for TPC2019? It’s only just October!

Yes, we have shortlisted in super quick time this year. The Education Panel met last week to whittle down the 81 sessions to the 26 needed to make up the provisional programme for the 2019 outing of the Ticketing Professionals Conference.

The quality this year was higher than ever, with some amazing ideas or approaches to topics which left for some tough choices, especially in areas of revenue generation.  The new marketing strand also saw some great submissions.

We gave some special consideration to session focusing on challenges to or content from the attractions sector, as was asked for in TPC2018 feedback.

Alas, the submissions we had were dominated by male speakers, which has dented our efforts to balance the speakers on the programme. To balance this, we are proactively recruiting female panelists where they are needed for sessions that have discussion or case study presentations.

The first draft of the programme is now online and can be found here

A BIG BIG thanks to the Education Panel of Dee Ishani, Kate Mroczkowski, Emily Childs, Ken Paul, Rachael Easton, Rachel-Marie Blair, Jamie Wooldridge, Alice Newton, Jamie Snelgrove, Yaz Khan and Dan Hunt
