Tim is Director of Baker Richards (www.baker-richards.com), a leading international software and consulting firm which helps cultural organisations achieve their commercial potential through admissions pricing, membership strategy and segmentation.
Baker Richards has worked on hundreds of projects for leading arts organisations around the world including many of the world’s leading theatres, opera houses, orchestras and art museums.
Along with the Revenue Management Application, together with partners JCA, Baker Richards is the joint developer of a data warehouse that powers a number of other software applications including the box office data-sharing component of The Audience Agency’s Audience Finder programme and the Segmentation Engine.
Tim has been developing his work in pricing research and strategy for nearly three decades and has led the development of innovative techniques for researching price demand in the cultural sector He developed a model for understanding the multiple and complex variables that can be used to optimise pricing strategy and has advised arts organisations worldwide. He now spends much of his time translating that expertise into software and is a regular speaker on pricing and integrated earned income strategy at conferences around the world.
