Sindri Mar Finnbogason has been working in the ticketing industry since 2002 first primarily as a developer but founded the first ticketing company in Iceland in 2003.
He relocated to Copenhagen in 2008 when his company acquired Billetlugen that became Venuepoint later (now EventIM) and expanded to Sweden and Norway. After Nordisk Film bought Venuepoint he quit in April 2013 and then started Tix.is in Iceland in October 2014. Today Tix has offices in Iceland, Danmark, Sweden and Norway and sells over 3 million tickets per year with a total of 15 employees.
