The role AI can play in customer services
This would be a follow up to the panel discussion ‘The Future of Customer Services’ that Lyndsey Jackson, Linda Forlini delivered in 2018.
In 2018 Lyndsey and Linda discussed the role chatbots could play in customer services and how we at the Fringe Society were exploring this as a tool to help tackle the growing volume of consumer queries we receive.
18 months on, and after a lot of testing and research, we actually decided against it and the use of AI in any of our approach to customer services. Instead, we reorganised how we use the team and human interactions to manage our workload and help audience members. We’d love to share this as a case study.
