Kimberley Waterman is currently managing a project to build and launch a bespoke online booking journey for LW Theatres. Having a background in ticketing system consultancy, she brings her experience to numerous ticketing and technology projects in her role as Technology Development Manager.
Owned by theatrical visionary Andrew Lloyd Webber, LW Theatres operates 7 theatres in the heart of London’s West End. The diverse family of historic theatres, includes iconic venues such as The London Palladium and the stately Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
When the sky’s the limit, how do you aim for the stars?
Where do you start, when you are aiming to build a best in market online customer booking journey, that takes a customer first approach but has to accommodate the requirements of all the stake holders? How can it be unique and flexible while still prioritising the basics?
LW Theatres has developed a new online ticket booking journey; moving away from an out-of-the-box checkout to a completely bespoke booking experience.
This session will provide a candid case study of the process LW went through; in terms of putting together the brief, the tender process, the build and then the launch.
We’ll aim to answer the questions above and provide the audience with key takeaways; what worked and didn’t work for a project of this scale.
