Hugh Topping founded crowdEngage to help theatres and arts organisations create brilliant audience experiences, drive reattendance, and increase revenue.
His first involvement in the industry was selecting a ticketing system for the family bookshops he helps run. That search led him to Spektrix, where he eventually went on to join the engineering team.
In 2017 he founded crowdEngage. It now serves clients such as the Bridge Theatre, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Manchester International Festival, New York’s Symphony Space, and the Mercury Theatre amongst others.
