Hot on the heels of other panelists, it’s great we can now announce Emily Childs of Substrakt too. Emily will help shape the programme in 2019, building on her experience at both Substrakt and previously Spektrix.
At Substrakt she is Head of Client Services working with organisations including English National Opera, Bridge Theatre, Birmingham Hippodrome, Royal Court Theatre, Opera North, Shakespeare’s Globe, Waddesdon Manor, Snape Maltings and Nottingham Theatre Royal and Concert Hall amongst many others.
Emily is interested in helping arts organisations make the most of the technology they use. Especially in using that technology to work in as efficient and targeted way as possible. She believes in a strong customer-centred approach, backed up by data-driven research and analysis to improve the customer experience; from landing on the website, through buying a ticket, and attending the venue.
Speaking of working on #TPC2019 she said
“I’m excited to join the panel for TPC 2019 and help shape the content. I attended the conference for the first time last year and highly recommend it. It’s sometimes hard to commit to time away from our desks but TPC is full of inspiring, practical sessions and actionable insight, as well looking to the future to ask what comes next. There are plenty of opportunities to catch up with peers and other industry professionals, so it will definitely become a staple in my calendar.”
