Originally trained in Costume for Screen and Stage, Lorna Clayton-Rawle worked as a costumier for 10 years before moving into fundraising. Working across arts and heritage, both for charities and commercial companies, previous roles have included Project Coordinator for Aesthetica Magazine and BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival in York and Trusts and Foundations Manager at Royal Armouries in Leeds, supporting exhibitions, acquisitions and education work at the Tower of London, Fort Nelson in Portsmouth and at the flagship museum in Leeds.
As Fundraising Manager at Cast, Doncaster’s flagship theatre, Lorna implements a comprehensive strategy encompassing individual giving, trusts and foundations fundraising and corporate support and works within the Marketing and Communications team. She is a 2017 Arts Fundraising & Philanthropy Professional Fundraising Fellow.
