With the launch of our call for papers for #TPC2018 earlier this week, we are putting the final names down for our Education Panel who will help shape the programme.
It’s vital to ensure that we tackle the themes and issues that effect different areas of ticketing, so we are delighted to have James Kitto on our Education Panel. With his knowledge of both Attractions & Theatre he is a great addition to the group already assembled.
About James Kitto
Q: What is your Job Title and Organisation?
A: Head of Guest Services, Bristol Zoological Society
Q: How Long have you been in Ticketing?
A: Indirectly since carrying out work experience at St David’s Hall Box Office in 1998; directly since February 2016 when I started working at Bristol Zoo and Wild Place Project.
Q: Your favourite session at a previous TPC2017?
A: I’ve never been! I was due to attend earlier this year but due to an accident which left me unable to walk for much of March last year I wasn’t able to make it!
Q: Why you think TPC is a valuable place to learn and share
A: Having previously worked in theatre and now in attractions, I’m struck by the potential benefits of cross industry learning. TPC seems to be the place to do this! We can all learn lessons from one another, whatever our industry.
