The moderators at Ticketing Professionals Conference really are the unsung heroes, helping sessions run to time and chairing the Q&A sessions that so many delegates find so useful. We are delighted to welcome SeatGeek’s Jamie Snelgrove back in 2018 as Chief Moderator, wrangling our other moderators, speakers and delegates!

We caught up with him recently to find out which sessions he was most looking forward to in March.

“As in previous years I will be trying to pack a lot into TPC in 2018, helping as a moderator as well as representing my company in the exhibition hall. In between all that (and the networking of course!) I want to attend as many sessions in as possible.

GDPR is obviously a hot topic right now, and I am fascinated to hear about the ‘Legitimate Interest’ defence. I am sure the discussion afterwards will be lively to say the least!

“In my experience working with visitor attractions and museums getting queueing right, whether it is physical or online, is crucial. London Transport Museum do a great job at both so I hope to get plenty of pointers on best practice from Geoff Rowe and Edmund Rudder.

“And I could listen to Maureen Andersen reading the phone directory, so hearing her talk about Leadership in Ticketing will be a rare treat.

I wish I could go to all the sessions, but I’m sure the ones I make it along to will challenge and educate me.

See you all in Birmingham – more canals than Venice apparently!
