Rose Hall is the Box Office Manager at the National Centre for Early Music. She and a colleague attended the inaugral Ticketing  Professionals Conference on our bursary scheme to allow smaller venues to attend free of charge. This year she is returning, again with a colleague to learn best practice from other industry professionals, so we asked her to review what she saw in 2016 and what she is looking forward to seeing in just over 5 weeks time.

“I attended TPC2016 and was hugely impressed by the vast wealth of knowledge I gained and could bring back to implement in my own venue, The National Centre for Early Music in York. These included talks on: Making your Ticketing Operation Truly Inclusive, Reducing Web Basket Abandonment and A Tick in the Right Box for Data Sharing. I was also fascinated by the insights from the running of the Edinburgh Fringe!

“This year there is once again an extensive list of informative talks and will definitely be attending Bringing Data Together, The Rise of the Roving Box Office, Getting Creative with Membership Offerings and Capturing Customer Feedback from the Web.

“I am delighted to be attending with a colleague so we can make the most of the talks and overlapping events!
