The ticketing business is varied, we all know that. What works in London, perhaps not so much in Lancaster. That’s why we are pulling together an Education Panel for #TPC2018 that represents many aspects of the business.

Adding some superb West-End knowledge is Dan Hunt of WhatsOnStage. Dan has been a long time supporter of Ticketing Professionals – through his involvement at SOBOM, moderation of sessions and even helping out on the registration desk, to name just a few areas.

Andrew Thomas, Director of the TPC2018 said of Dan’s involvement “There are few people with such a great knowledge and enthusiasm for ticketing as Dan. He is always first to volunteer to help out with tasks at every conference, so we are delighted he can help shape and curate TPC2018’s programme to include some relevant West-end stories and themes.

About Dan Hunt

Q: What is your Job Title and Organisation?
A:  Ticketing Manager, WhatsOnStage

Q: How Long have you been in Ticketing?
A:  God, 11 Years, gahhh!

Q: Your favourite session at a previous TPC2017?
A:I find all of the seminars so incredibly relevant but I found the Kick Starting your Group Sales and incredibly insightful, especially as it covered the regions and how to work with them more.

Q: Why you think TPC is a valuable place to learn and share
A: TPC is, in my opinion, the central place to meet and discuss current and future topics with your peers with the programme being varied, well planned, there is something for everyone. It allows open discussion where you feel relaxed and comfortable enough to talk about problems you may have faced and really get down to the nitty-gritty of the ticketing business, whilst making new contacts and forming fab business relationships.
