As we get closer to TPC2017, we are carrying on our moderators feature; introducing the people at Ticketing Professionals who help keep sessions on time, speakers on track, as well as help field the question and answer sessions at the end of each breakout.

In addition to those already announced, we are pleased to introduce you to our next batch of great session moderators, who have some 79 years of ticketing experience between them!


Michelle Alexander, Dawsav Consultancy

Michele has worked in the Arts & Entertainment Industry for the past 25 years, from Box Office through to software suppliers, including ENTA as the Software Manager.

Since 2014 she has been working as a consultant specialising in data driven projects to bring multiple ticketing systems, as well as payroll and retail systems, into one single Data Warehouse.
Data is her passion and she continues to encourage clients that understanding and managing data effectively and efficiently is paramount to a successful business.


Ian Taylor, Senior Data Analyst, bigdog Agency

Now with over two decades of ticketing experience under his belt, Ian has recently made a move to join bigdog Agency, an multi-award winning creative agency. Here he manages the UK ticketing for Disney On Ice, and works with multiple ticketing partners across the UK to enhance marketing reach, Ian also manages the FELD UK customer database; profiling & understanding audiences to enhance campaigns via insights and sales analytics.

Ian’s experience includes live entertainment agency marketing, West End box office management and ticket agent marketing, and he has overseen ticketing & sales strategy for Walking With Dinosaurs and Batman Live international arena tours, and previously for Billy Elliot the Musical (London and touring), Doctor Who Experience, Hairspray, Dirty Dancing, Stomp, The Old Vic and RSC London seasons.


Jo Michel, Michel Consultancy

With more than 20 years’ experience in the Ticketing Industry in Australia and UK, Jo has gathered a wealth of knowledge of Ticketing, CRM, Subscriptions, Fundraising, E-Marketing and CMS as they apply to venues, festivals, agencies and theatre companies.

Jo has had the pleasure of working with many prestigious organisations during her career, including Sydney Theatre Company, Edinburgh International Festival & Hub Tickets, Firstcall Australia & UK, Ticketmaster, Ensemble Theatre, Sydney Film Festival, SOCOG – Sydney 2000 Olympic Arts Festival, Australian Opera and The Adelaide Fringe.

Michel Consultancy specialises in working with organisations to plan system change, create tender documents, understand organisational requirements with regard to Ticketing solutions and managing the change process.


 Jamie Snelgrove, Business Development Director, Toptix

Jamie Snelgrove is Business Development Director for TopTix, a leading software supplier entirely devoted to the design, development and support of white label ticketing systems for the heritage, arts, live entertainment, sport, cinema, ticket agency and visitor attraction sectors.

For over 10 years he has worked in ticketing and marketing for organisations, venues and festivals all across the UK and Ireland, and loves nothing more than a challenge. That challenge could range from a massive on-sale to leading the tender process for a new ticketing and CRM system, or maybe both at the same time!
