Following on from the first speaker announcements, we can confirm the lastest four speakers for #TPC2017.
These latest speakers will be tackling issues around rethinking our revenue streams and strategies, by looking beyond our national borders. The full list of 2017 speakers will be continually updated here
Angela Gahan, Managing Director, Antix Management
Angela Gahan is the founder and managing director of Antix Management, a Sydney based consultancy providing ticketing and sales management to live events in Australia, New Zealand and international markets. Prior to starting Antix Management in 2007, Angela held a number of senior sales and ticketing management roles within ticketing companies and in house on a number of productions.
Antix clients include Disney Theatrical Productions, CML, Michael Cassel Group, Louise Withers and Associates, The Really Useful Group and Dainty Group.
Angela will be looking at the hardest tickets to sell “the last 2%” – with case study and practical advice on how even the hottest tickets need a little help to be sold.
Kevin Giglinto, VP Client Development, Tessitura Network
Kevin heads Tessitura’s Client Development and Marketing, after spending 16 years leading industry innovation in marketing, audience relationships and digital strategies at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra where he was Vice President for Sales and Marketing and Vice President for Strategy. Kevin also teaches Technology in the Arts for Roosevelt University.
Kevin will be presenting with David Reece, looking at how at Chicago Symphony Orchestra, he worked to offer value to package ticket buyers without necessarily discounting the ticket price.
Ash Mann, Strategic Director, Substrakt
Ash is the Strategic Director at Substrakt, a digital agency whose clients include Birmingham Hippodrome, Waddesdon Manor, Royal Court Theatre, Hackney Empire, Royal Opera House, Wales Millennium Centre and English National Opera.
He’s very interested in helping organisations make the most of their online offering, and has seen first-hand the power of using web APIs to achieve unique, bespoke solutions for clients.
Ash will be looking at API technology, examining the best uses for smoother and deeper integration between customer facing sites and back end ticketing systems.
Ben Rapp, CEO Managed Networks
Ben founded Managed Networks in 1998 as a spin-out from his previous software business. Focused on IT support and outsourcing for small and medium-sized businesses, Managed Networks is the leading provider of IT services to the live entertainment sector.
Is a graduate of Oxford University, with an MA in French & Philosophy from Wadham College; a Chartered Fellow of the BCS; a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists; a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with the Information Security Systems Management Professional (ISSMP) concentration.
The joint top rated speaker at #TPC2016, Ben will return to give an overview of this year’s trends in organisational and technology security. His session at #TPC2017 will look at practical steps people can implement back in the office to improve their organisational or departmental security
